The Statistics

1993 (the earliest year for which records exist) - Bond Street fans had 68 opportunities to take in a performance. Special performances that year took place at the annual Astoria / Warrenton Crab & Seafood Festival, Cannon Beach Music in the Park Summer Series, Astoria's Regatta and Mayor's Ball, a benefit appearance joined by Curtis Salgado, and Seaside's Quatat Park Summer Series.

1994 - 38 performances, including the annual Astoria / Warrenton Crab & Seafood Festival, Ocean Park's Garlic Festival, the Portland Energy Fair, Cannon Beach Music in the Park Summer Series, and Seaside's Quatat Park Summer Series and Hood to Coast celebration. Later in the year, the band began their long run at the Hong Kong.

1995 - For a good portion of '94 and '95, the place to be was the Hong Kong in Astoria, where Bond Street appeared almost weekly to a recurring packed house. Of course, you could find them lots of other places in '95, including the Hood to Coast celebration, for a total of 62 well-received appearances.

1996 - Highlights of the band's 75 performances this year were a Southern Oregon road trip, including performances at Marc Anthony's in Ashland, Good Times in Eugene, and The Umpqua Brewery in Roseburg, and performances closer to home at the Gray's River Covered Bridge Festival, Miss Clatsop County Pageant, Cannon Beach's Summer Series, opening for Tab Benoit, and Portland's Waterfront Blues Fest.

1997 - In amongst 57 shows, the band opened for Ray Condo and gave return performances at the Seafood and Covered Bridge Festivals, and made another trip below the 45th parallel, including a spot at Southern Oregon's equivalent of the Waterfront Blues Fest - the KLCC-broadcast Eugene Celebration.

1998 - This year, live blues venues in the Northwest region began to disappear, leaving Bond Street fans out in the cold. Members of the band took well-deserved vacations to sunnier climes and/or worked on other musical projects. 14 performances.

1999 - Along with other band work, Bond Street travelled to give many shows at Maxwell's in Lincoln City and the Shoalwater Bay Casino in Tokeland, WA. Their 30 appearances this year also included the Bite of Seaside, Cannon Beach's Summer Series, and a fantastic performance at the Clatskanie Performing Arts Series' Blues Night.

2000 - Highlights this year: Seafood Festival and Cannon Beach Summer Series. 15 total.

2001 - 23 performances, including the ABATE Campout, Nehalem Bay Winery Blues Festival, Astoria's Silver Salmon Celebration, and the Columbiana Riverfest Celebration in Hood River, opening for Inner Circle.

The most common venues to find the band throughout the years have been the Hong Kong, Wet Dog, and The Labor Temple in Astoria, The Whaler and The Driftwood's annual Halloween bash in Cannon Beach, Portland's White Eagle, Laurelthirst, and Candlelight Lounge, Sinbad's in Manzanita, Bayside Gardens and the Firehall (with the Crackpots, Golden Delicious and various other bands) in Nehalem, The Peacock in Corvallis, and Rainbow Rocks in Longview, WA.

Bond Street has also made appearances at numerous fund-raising benefits for many good causes throughout the Northwest region, as well as weddings, and parties of all stripes.
